Specialties:
Steve creates unique imagery for product, architecture, and service-related industries. People become props and props become design elements in images that are intriguing and evocative. Including, yet not restricted to table-top, location, people, annual reports, home accessories-furniture, interior and exterior architecture and design, and print media.
Style:
Richardson abides by basic philosophies when creating images: “if you want to see, light it and “whatever works.” This stems from his fascination with the interplay between form and light and the emotion this can create. No holds barred exist when it comes to creating the effect he wants, while still retaining an instinct for knowing when “enough is enough”. His precise workmanship coupled with his flexibility of which it encompasses, becomes a successful and innovative opportunity for all his clients.
Background:
A member of the American Society of Media Photographers, Steve has been mastering the art of photography for fifteen years. Steve has expanded his knowledge through the Lansing Media Institute and Kendal School of Design and by attending workshops at Maine Photo, Jerry Ullsman, Palm Beach Photo, Ron Berg Lighting, and Will Crocket Lighting.
